daughters of the king 2006
promo video shot by jeff mclaughlin in january 2006 for the asy daughters of the king girls retreat. the video features student megan kropp and was shot entirely on location in downtown winter park, florida at central park. megan was wearing a wireless mic to preserve sound quality and nothing was scripted. roughly 20 minutes of footage was shot to obtain the final cut. one scene features a little girl walking in slow motion in what appears to be a merge with megan. it was discovered later in editing that the girl, who was playing in a flower garden in the park, had been captured in the filming completely by accident. ironically, the scene ended up embodying the message of the film and the vision of the retreat.

what is the vision
created for the students of allsaintsyouth and featuring the narration of eric moulton reading an excerpt from red moon rising, by pete grieg and dave roberts. footage featured in the film comes from several locations, including the mammoth cave national park in kentucky, the twin towers (pre-9/11) in new york city, the ivey lane housing district in orlando, florida. several allsaintsyouth students are featured from various events ranging from 2004 to 2006.
